Blue Waters Sri Lanka

Surrounded by Blue waters.

Much of the beach front land in Sri Lanka is saved for new tourist ventures rather than residential properties.  Hence new hotels are propping up everywhere along the sea front.

I find the smaller new hotels somewhat appealing.  New rooms, new deco, and especially those where the swimming pool meets the ocean in the horizon.

You find certain compositions in nature where it best fits your 5 sensors and being in it you experience some part of the universe as a whole. Or being in a starbuck’s with an extra shot of caffeine with the right music and surrounded by glass windows. Like in Queesway’s, London where you find people from here, there and everywhere in the world.

All portals to the universe and an experiential experience.

Sri Lanka could be like London, like Singapore, like Malaysia in time sooner than later or anytime it wants too, with its new developments and new roads.  Being a Buddhist country and more importantly newly developing and starting from a clean slate, it will find the balance between trappings its citizens with the big city type of life or offering them a more balance life style.  It could become one of the best portals to experience the universe in the future.  Part of that one-world new world order of the future.

Has the making of the new world order started while you were sleeping?:

Tony Blair says that he wants to start a “new leaders club”

He told Newsweek magazine that his latest ambition was to recruit former heads of government to go round the world to advise presidents and prime ministers on how to run their countries.

A central independent world government controlling all other governments is what was meant by new world order, when the phrase was coined a few years ago.  The central world government will consists of former world leaders while the countries will be run by up and coming new leaders who would then become world government leaders in the future.

World business was one sided when I was growing up.  The west grew faster and bigger and living standards in developing countries rose with free health and subsidised housing.  Everybody had a home whether you were working or not and confidence grew with the populations as all were secure and free from the fear of living and maintaining a household.  A story made the rounds when I was growing up in Malaysia that when the country found oil surrounding its peninsula and Exxon was invited to make a bit.  Its executive came to the meeting with only one sheet of paper in his briefcase.  He placed it on the table and when the host country protested: he put the deal back into his briefcase and left the room for the airport to fly back to the US.  The meeting lasted less than 5 minutes.

Such is also the case now with the Chinese economic power and its development investment lending foray into the other parts of Asia and Africa.  Building roads in Sri Lanka and now the new harbor port in the south of the country.  the US is not happy with China’s assertion which was once the role of the big brother and rightly so, is not happy, I think too.  Would you not be worried too when a lopsided world economy which was in your favor at the expense of others developing and you maintaining your yearly high growth rates and high living standards while others live in slow motion.    Then comes China with its investment arm and says, lets balance the scales of world economy.  When the developed world has to hand in there second cars and their seconds homes over to the newly develop  world so they can maintain a better standard of living, no one is going to feel the better for this.  China shifted those scales  back to balance.  The money did not come from the US or Europe but from China’s investment banks.

How China grew desperate to conceal its power from the world

China had to hide from “big brother” (not) to balance the scales as the US advice all its allies to stay away from the Chinese investment banks.

Mr Summers has hailed the birth of the China-led institution as the moment the US lost its role as “the underwriter of the global economic system”.

“I can think of no event since Bretton Woods comparable to the combination of China’s effort to establish a major new institution and the failure of the US to persuade dozens of its traditional allies, starting with Britain, to stay out of it,” opined the former president of Harvard and one time candidate to take over the US Federal Reserve.

The brain-child of Chinese premier Xi Jinping, the AIIB aims to plug chronic infrastructure gaps across Asia. With 46-founding members as it stands, the lender has been dubbed the “World Bank for Asia”, closely mimicking rival organisations such as the Japanese-led Asian Development Bank.

Principally, the bank would act as a funnel for pumping China’s massive foreign exchange reserves into projects to build roads, bridges and mobile phone towers everywhere from Myanmar to Iran.

I can’t understand why would the US want its allies to stay out of China’s efforts to develop infrastructure in developing countries.  I see what it has done for Sri Lanka.  New roads, more work, better standard of living at all levels.  All this contributing to the government setting a minimum wage for casual work.  Here you would find even the most casual of workers, still owning their own land with their tin roofs and unplastered walls, but enjoying a family life with kids running around in their garden.  With little or no help from the government.  But from a certain entry level they have it all to start with while in the big city countries they struggle to own a home even after years of work.

Sri Lanka is a good example for what China has done for it while the US waves its human rights wand as it looks for more work in the country and while all its allies are for joining the new Chinese investment arm as a way into investing in Asia and other parts of the world. It is starting to soften its its stance on sharing and balancing the scales as its finds itself alone still with some rhetoric:

France, Germany, Italy and the UK will all now be founding members of the AIIB when it is due to launch at the end of the year.

Britain’s decision to become the “first Western nation” to submit its interest drew an apoplectic response from the White House.

“We are wary about a trend of constant accommodation of China, which is not the best way to engage with a rising power,” said one US official.

One world Government with resources shared to keep the scales in balance.  Europe understands this more than others I think as its gets away from its past of empire building and is joining the Chinese to balance out the world.  Sri Lanka has had a large scale taste of Chinese efforts to help it develop.  Like all other countries it will have to stop thinking that Sri Lanka is only for Sri Lankan,s and look towards integrating into the new world order which is the future.  All countries will be looking towards opening its borders to the world.  This is not very far off in time and possibly only just around the corner.

There will be no more borders or passports.  People live where they want to live. Work if they want too work or grow their own food.  They can do it anywhere in the world.  They could work the city life but retire anywhere they want too at any age, in any part of the world. New world order coming to you soon.

Find your own portal to the universe for you to call home.  Passport? what’s that? Yes it did exists in the past where we had to live and work in what was called a country.  Yes , ha ha, it was also given a name to show we belonged to it.  We wore the same kind of clothes and talked the same language. Ha ha.

So how will Sri Lanka look in the future when the new world order becomes reality.  Cosmo is how it will look, like Queensway, London.  It will be a paradise portal to the universe and many will want to come and live here and some would want to leave to experience the fast city life.  In time countries dissolve into a new world order.  It all becomes one.  But that is what we want, right?  We take holidays to find new portals.

I want the place where the water in the pool meets the sea.  I will want to go anywhere in the world where I could possibly find it.  My own portal to the universe.
