Natural Law

You either line up with these laws or not: you choose.  The effects of not attempting to do so will be a disaster waiting to happen.

It is strange how the natural law of the universe, with an intelligence of its own, chooses the people who live in it to talk for its universal plan.  Religion might have been created around the intelligence of nature, but as you have seen what the thinking mind can do to facts and that is spin them out of control.

I was wowed by this man, Mark Passio, who put this study of the natural laws together.  He did this seminar in 3 parts and hence the long video below for over 8 hours.  You can take this slowly over time but at least try and watch some of part 1 now, which will bring into context where one stands with the earlier chapters.  Like I said it is strange how the natural laws of the universe chooses who to put across its Truths.  There are a rainbow of views from different minds in nature but nature is unchanging, omnipresent and will always be what it is now, as it was yesterday, and as it will be tomorrow.  You can see why it will be dependable always to work your multi mind, off nature’s natural laws, to keep the imaginative mind in check.

Definition of Natural Law:

The full 8 hour version in 3 parts.

The understanding that the oneness of nature is important, has been recognised in the past by humans to the extent that some have conceived in their minds to be just that – to act as one as nature does.  The Sikhs in their holy book, the Guru Granth Sahib, which is the equivalent of the Bible, says this in its first paragraph, the Mool Mantar, as a reminder, before the rest of the holy book is read:

You can click on image to enlarge.

The Sikhs came together in around 1500 AD, about 500 years ago.  They came together only because their very first Guru, Guru Nanak preached differently as one who recognised the importance of the natural laws.

The Sikh faith began around 1500 CE, when Guru Nanak began teaching a faith that was quite distinct from Hinduism and Islam

The Sikhs took the form you see today about 200 years after the Sikhs were created in 1500 after 5 symbols were introduced into their attire as a reminder to what the race stands for: one with nature, naturally uncut hair and clean in mind and body, defence of the weak and the struggle against injustice.  The Sikhs are united by the form they carry and his surname being either a Singh for men and a Kaur for women.  Their original surnames were all dropped and forgotten.  Hence it is a very brave attempt by them to be united to themselves and to nature.  But you can appreciate that their minds were not as easily unified, with their rainbow of views of what the true reality of a Sikh should be and having to assimilate into the rest of society of human kind was an impossible feat.  Hence externally you can adopt the form of nature as reminders but the Truth in thyself and your mind is a different matter altogether.

But they are not far off, if you think that Quantum mechanics only came about recently where they started to look at the finer particles of matter and try to figure out its pattern.  I am biased to look closely to either David Bohm or Jiddu Krishnamurti.  David Bohm is a Physicists and he had formed a sort of partnership with Krishnamurti where they would have inadvertently looked at the mind and its physics together.  This is David Bohm’s idea of the pattern of consciousness.

You could put the verses of the Mool Mantar next to this video and it won’t look out of place.  This implicate order at the quantum level that David Bohm postulates was sensed by mystical quiet minds of the past just sensing what is around them and I guess some would have felt its intelligence and gave it a name – God.

So you can see, as an artist will learn, if his mind does not have a new way of thinking, then only his past will he know.  He knows that his past is almost always a lie in him out of his imagination with its rainbow of views.  The Sikh would have understood that externally one might try one’s best to be like nature and even unify themselves as one with in form and prayer and name, but in their minds they are secretly a rainbow of views as we all are because that is how we are made.

The multi talented imaginative mind might have its place in creating solutions to a problem but it will never find the new in you as its repository is always about yesterday and what has been in your mind.  Only a clean slate of amnesia can find the quantum new in you and perhaps we should leave the discovery of the quantum leap to the machine, where it could be programmed to have no past and give it a solution to solve and find out where it takes us when all it knows is nothing to start with.

In the meantime, before the quantum computer is conceived to help us, then how does the biological mind move forward. The biological mind only has the unchanging laws of nature to guide us through our computations.  We need to first know the underlying pattern of nature and see how we are attached to it.  Mark Passio has gone straight to the point and described it for us to ponder about what he has to say.

So how does the mind experience the natural laws and how does it get to know the full power of the universe.  The mind has to be silent first.  Only stillness speaks the Truth of the whole.  The mind has to learn to be silent, all the time, every time and not only when in cross-legged meditation.  There has to be a new natural discipline emerging in the mind of the human race.  It should know when to be silent to absorb the large repository of the unknown of the universe and when to begin a mind in action, and to be aware of it’s movements – when one’s mind is moving out of its home of silence and rest and when it is entering a mode of action and imagination.

To stop me going into a another passage of words to describe what we have seen together in earlier chapters I can only produce these mandala’s I had created and shown earlier as a summary:

Know the influences of your mind and its limitations:

Known how to stay silent in mind to access the unknown.

Know when your mind is in its center and quiet and being one with the universe and know when it is in movement and off its center and in imagination.  Know that it needs to come back to silence when done, and it’s having to return to the center away from the psychological noise and thinking.  Rest and thinking.  Silence and Noise.

Finally know that thinking is sound first, “speak thinking”, where one has to silently speak what one is thinking, to be able to think at all.  If you break this link of thinking and speaking – then thinking stops – a form of walking talking meditation.

Then, there is a complete shutdown of the mind, in cross-legged meditation.

MIND in ART

The influences of today’s mind, a summary: 3 levels

From silence, to technological influences to thinking. Only at the point of samadhi or silence is the mind ready for the unknown.  At any other level it is a distraction.  The 5–sensors-mind, and thinking has its limitations.  You don’t need these limitations if you want to get out of a trapped corner.

This a summary for an ebook that I am working on called, “MIND in ART”. What I am postulating is that if the mind is trapped in its limitations then the process of making Art is going to reflect those limitations.  With a few discoveries of my own in “speak thinking” I tend to provided “switches” in the mind that will try and overcome these limitations.

Remote Artificial Intelligence Into Your Home

A summary of previous articles:

Rogue radio signal acting as carrier wave via your telegraph pole, into your home phone/internet access point, into your household wiring and power supply lines, to your computer and computer screens, into your household appliances, the tonal modulations and ultrasound generated by your house into the living space and into your ears, some heard tonal modulations in the background, others like ultrasound unheard and into your ears as tinnitus modulations and into your brain as thinking – completely unknown to you.

Artificial Intelligence is You

when the noise in your mind stops.  That is how Artificial Intelligence (AI) seems to work.  I came across this article that says Deepmind’s AI program for chess beats a chess master at his game – 4 games to 1.

So here they have a algorithm that learns by itself and watches its opponent and makes up its next move accordingly.

During the second game, AlphaGo played a move – move 37 – which left everyone watching, from the audience to the Go Grandmasters, scratching their heads. No one could understand the thinking behind it. Yet as the game unfolded it became clear that the computer had devised a winning strategy that had never been seen before in the game’s 2,500 year history.

Look, this is a machine that has no noise of psychological thinking, in its mind.  It is written to be silent and it just listens and watches you.  In that 100% silence, and speed of computing, it creates the new in itself and comes out tops.  It does not have the limitations of the human mind.  It just computes and moves on, from moment to moment.

“Speak Thinking” and Tonal Modulations

If you switch on your handsfree option on your landline and just listen to the tone this is what you will hear below: But me tapping on the table had got a response via tonal modulation of “what is he doing”.  If you listen in to your access point for your internet/phone line using a induction loop receiver you will hear this handsfree option being switched on with both the tones and the separation coming in but with no indication on your phone that the handsfree had been switched on.  The handsfree option is being used externally to switch on the microphone to listen to conversations and also the tones are used to listen to one’s thinking.  The response on these lines are a 2 way process and you would on a phone line but so is the incognito unwelcome stranger coming in to listen in and also passing in subliminals and voices through the phone which will be carried into the rest of the household perhaps via the ground cable as I have shown in previous articles.  With everything else set aside, the process of using these tones to listen to one’s thinking because of “speak thinking” and via tonal modulation  is a serious breach of privacy that needs to be investigated further.

Unheard Sound Pollution – Ultrasound

I am not dealing here with what you can hear pollution but rather the unheard sound that is outside the range of hearing (20 hertz to 20 kilohertz).

Unheard yet it is everywhere.  Can the mind actually “hear” this, but not you.  It comes in unheard and gets processed straight into thinking.  You might think that your thinking is your own but rather it is initiated by a subliminal rogue signal.  This can alter your mind to think differently about things and alter your perception.  Fundamentally your whole personality is being created for you unknown to yourself.  It might not all be according to your own thinking but initiated by some external sources.  I am going to try and show you how this happens.

I will start with this by saying that the ear can actually process higher than the upper limit of 20 Khz.  The ultrasound range might just sound like tinnitus to you in your ears but the ear and mind will still process it.  There might be some research out there which I might have pointed out in some earlier articles but this new discovery is more interesting to try and make the point in a different way.  It comes out of China and is called: “DolphinAttack: Inaudible Voice Commands”.  Dolphin attack I assume because it comes in unnoticed. The paper is dated 31 August 2017, so like yesterday, time wise. or almost like today.

Speech recognition (SR) systems such as Siri or Google Now have become an increasingly popular human-computer interaction method, and have turned various systems into voice controllable systems
(VCS).

https://arxiv.org/pdf/1708.09537.pdf

Hidden voice commands, though ‘hidden’, are nonetheless
audible. In this work, we design a completely inaudible attack, DolphinAttack, that modulates voice commands on ultrasonic carriers (e.g., f > 20 kHz) to achieve inaudibility.

They found that all these voice recognition systems were affected: , including Siri, Google Now, Samsung S Voice, Huawei HiVoice, Cortana and Alexa.

So it is interesting that ultrasound rogue signals can activate a VRS gadget in your home but then can it also activate your mind to think a certain way by introducing a target word or short sentence into your mind.

New Scientist Magazine on a roll on the mind

The quest with quantum physics is that: is there an intangible reality that we cannot see that is fixed and holding all of us together.  The question is can the mind work out what it is.  So, they come out of the woodwork and give their theories.  But there is one guy that says, hey, lets just say that there is no structure, nothing, and let’s see if our minds can work it out.

Hence the title of the article is: “Reality? It’s what you make it”.

I don’t think he is saying that there is nothing but, hey, let’s see if our minds can find out what it is.  Hence by the title, he is saying that it is what you make of it.  That’s all and fine.  What he is saying is that it is experiential.  You make it what it is by your experiences of what you get in your mind of what it is and then finally come up with a big picture.  You know you are never going to get there with that big picture in this lifetime.  You might have to come back to add to what you already created from your last life.  I think that is why they invented reincarnation in their minds.  Also then is this why artist trying to find something “new” in their work just go around in circles just creating derivatives of the past in art because there are limitations in the mind that will not allow you to jump the fence and then see what is ahead that is totally new.  Hence like everything else, the frontline of art is slow as they take a lot from their past and add a little of the new to it to make it look slightly different and it progresses that way at snail’s pace.

Perhaps Henri Matisse was trying to tell us something in his painting, “The Snail”

Sound Can Generate A Magnetic Field

If we add heat to it and hence a magnetic field can affect a sound signal because sound on heat generates a magnetic field.  But What!.  I thought what we know is that sound is sound, right? – just created by collisions of atoms in the air and the pressure waves created travels in air and gets to your ear drum and the membrane vibrates and if the frequency is right you hear a sound. Duh. So what is all this bullshit about sound being also a magnetic field and also they say that a sound wave can be created by heat and the wave is created because the atoms absorb the heat and the atoms vibrate faster and hence the heat is actually stored in this sound wave.  Come off it off this bullshit.  This is not what we are taught at school and this they say was only discovered in 2015.  Yeah, but when did we go to the moon? What Echo! 1961? and why did you not know that sound is also magnetic in character and also can store heat and also can generate a magnetic field around it when heat is applied to the material in which sound travels.

But you did not know that the oxygen you breathe has magnetic characteristics, did you?:

Back to sound.

A sound pressure wave through the air as we know it:

The scientist had to show this property of sound by applying heat to the conductor material.  First They had to introduce the phonon: This basically is just the displacement of the atom when heat is applied to it and it is this displacement that is propagated.  The phonon is the sound signal that is moving through space.  A pressure wave through space or a phonon through space when heated and phonons carry sound:

Phonons carry both sound and heat. In metals, heat is carried primarily by the movement of electrons in the atoms. However, in all other materials, heat is carried almost exclusively by the phonons.

“New” Scientist weekly 28th October 2017

“Brain’s “autopilot” mode lets you stop thinking” – New Scientist page 9.

OK, I can see why going to Mars is such a WoW thing or a car with a rocket on its back can break the speed of sound but really nothing beats this article in the New Scientist magazine this week about the fact that there are 2 modes of thinking.  They have all the hallmarks of the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti, David Bohm and Rupert Sheldrake.  All of Jiddu Krishnamurti’s reflections were experiential in nature.  No test tubes in his lab but rather just him looking into his mind and following his thoughts.  Soon the laboratories will be telling you this: a possible block diagram summary from a discussion between J. Krishnamurti and David Bohm.

One can differentiate between “speak thinking” where one silently has to speak what one is thinking to have to think at all and pictorial thinking in the “autopilot” mode.  “Speak Thinking” is when one is spinning an observation in one’s mind and taking an observation further away from its original observation by turning it into a concept or idea in one’s mind.  This concept or idea far away from the original observation can be seen as an illusion made from the mind.  One can accept that a spun idea from the mind can be “new” too, far from its original observation, but not when it has all the elements of the past in you that went into making it.  The Truly “new” comes from the repository of the Truth of things, not yet in mind or in an experiential past in you.

So there is “speak thinking” or just observation or pictorial thinking.  Silence in mind comes from choosing one from  the other.  The technique of meditation plays on this difference – to shut down one for the other, by using a mantra as a distraction. But cross-legged meditation, I think takes it a step further and shuts down the mind altogether – both pictorial and “speak thinking” allowing you total silence. In a sense a kind of black out, while still living.  Total silence and a kind of “where was I” when you slowly come out of it.  I think, if true, understanding this, especially seeing how “speak thinking” works and bringing on more silence in the mind, while going about our daily activities, might just bring on the next generation of new thinking, truly new ideas, new way’s of living, new anything and everything as a kind of evolutionary process, that is not dependent on its past, to make the future and it is not an evolutionary process of matter anymore but rather one of the unseen intangible parts in you and of the mind.  So what is truly “new” in one’s mind and how can you manifest it.

********************************************************

Brain’s ‘autopilot’ mode lets you stop thinking

EVER realised you’ve driven yourself home but haven’t really been paying attention? Brain scans have revealed that when your mind wanders, it switches into “autopilot” mode, enabling you to do tasks quickly, accurately and without conscious thought.

This autopilot mode seems to be run by a set of brain structures called the default mode network(DMN). It was discovered in the 1990s, when scans revealed that people show patterns of brain activity even when they aren’t really doing anything.

But what does the DMN do? Several studies have found that it seems to be involved in assessing past events and planning for the future. Others suggest the network is involved in self-awareness– although this has been called into question by findings that rats and newborns have a version of the DMN too.

It is unlikely that rats are conscious of themselves in the same way that humans are, says Deniz Vatansever at the University of York, UK. Instead, the DMN must have a more basic function, common to all animals.

Vatansever and his colleagues at the University of Cambridge wondered if the DMN might help us do things without paying much attention, such as tying shoelaces. To investigate, the researchers asked 28 volunteers to learn a card game while lying in an fMRI brain scanner.

In the game, each person received four cards. They were then given a fifth, and asked to match it to one of the four. But participants weren’t told the rules – whether to match the cards by colour or shape, for example. Through trial and error, each person figured it out after a few rounds.

As the participants began to play without thinking, their responses became faster and more accurate

While this happened, their brain activity resembled patterns that are typical of learning minds. But as the game continued, and participants knew how to match the cards without much thinking, their brain patterns resembled those of using the DMN – and their responses became both faster and more accurate (PNASdoi.org/cfgp).

This suggests that when we “switch off”, our brains go into an autopilot mode that allows us to perform tasks reasonably without much thought.

This might also help explain why some tasks – such as playing a well-known tune on the piano – suddenly seem much more difficult when you go from doing them absent-mindedly to consciously thinking about them.

In people who performed best in the experiment, the various brain regions fired together more consistently, showing more coordinated activity. This suggests that the more strongly connected a person’s DMN is, the more effective their autopilot mode, says Vatansever.

It may be possible to train yourself to improve your autopilot mode. In other studies, people have been able to control their brain activity when shown real-time scans of their brains.

Similar “neurofeedback” training may enable people to boost their brain’s autopilot mode, allowing them to perform better on tasks without directly focusing on them, says Paul Stillman at Ohio State University.
