Is there a problematic relationship between the human mind and the universe?

Buddha and the universe:

If that noisy self-talking thinking psychological mind does not stop ticking away the universe is only going to be an image to us and not something the self will get to experience and become and be one with its energy.

When the frontline self-talk-thinking ceases – what comes through seems to be like an intuitive streaming thinking mind that seems to come off the ether or perhaps the repository of the universe. It is a kind of thinking that cannot be manipulated. It is only a receiving state of being and “listening” to thought being downloaded. At this time the self-talking thinking mind is completely silent.

Then with time, my experience is it starts to evolve to first complete silence. No self-talk thinking or even intuitive thinking. One can sit in still silence and operate from this new mind space – while sometimes calling upon the self-talking mind if a little bit of thinking is needed to perhaps spin an idea, etc and when the task is over to fall back to silence. I find working from this silent space much better than being in the noisy frontline self-talking thinking mind all the time and not having any idea of what other spaces are present in my mind. Keeping the silent mind as the main workspace for thinking seems to give one better control of the mind and losing some of the limitations of the thinking mind and gaining more flexibility and more power to the mind. Intuitive thinking is always available in this space if needed or called upon via intention in mind. Use the thinking mind only when needed and discarded and back to silence, as the main living space in the mind. You can see why the centre of silence in your mind as a working space allows you more control over your mind.

Not only because you can easily recognise what a silent space of nothing is, and how easy it is to maintain it by understanding “speak thinking”. You are also far away from the psychological thinking of the self-talk thinking mind where if you don’t have another space to hide from this scrooge – then one can get stuck in this centre of noise in the mind with no escape.

From here, are there other spaces in mind, beyond this silence space? How can we further extend our minds into the universe to see what it feels like to be one with it?

I think this is where some serious crossed-legged meditation can come in handy. Sometimes I feel that we give meditation too much importance at the early stages of development of our minds. We can easily bring on silence in mind if we stop self-talk everything we are thinking. These 2 processes seem to be wired together. We decouple the processes by refusing to self-talk what we are thinking and no thinking as we know it is now possible. It is as easy as that to bring silence to an over-thinking mind. Self-talk thinking is always limited as it only has access to the past in us which is made up of our experiences. We are just running around in circles by just creating puzzles of the same pattern and nothing truly new emerges from this. If we do not make an effort to bring on silence in mind then we will only be playing the same game over and over again.

So what other spaces or consciousness levels are present behind this silence space in our minds. I will just tell you what others have said, while I try and discover and confirm these spaces for myself. It is hard to believe that there are other spaces behind this silent mind but I guess if we want to further meet the universe with our extended minds there will have to be some serious meditation. Further meditation will only help us lose our bodies and use our energies to extend ourselves into the ether.
