These paintings in 2007 allowed me to explore the use of the Lascaux acrylic paints. They allowed me to manipulate the image quickly allowing chance and spontaneous mark making to take its legitimate place in the process of image building.
The screen printing process was used directly onto the canvas to capture the shadow in this series. Once the technical problems of colourfastness was sorted the intangile shadow was captured to manifest the tangible image.
